Electronics Parts Inspection
In electronics manufacturing, lots of parts needs to be inspected for quality assurance purpose. The parts that is most commonly inspected are lead frame, connectors, molded parts etc. Inspection of these parts normally does not need high magnification. Therefore, the magnification offered by SMZ745T (6.7x to 50x) is normally perfect for these applications. As most of the connectors are metal parts which tends to be very reflective, some time polarising contrast is used to image them. Alternatively, co-axial lighting is sometime used to reduce the reflectiveness of the metal surface. The SMZ745T is mostly coupled with our own MioCam HD+ camera to get the Full HD image onto a full HD monitor screen. We normally compare our system to digital microscope system such as VHX-6000 or VHX-5000. While VHX-6000 and VHX-5000 are great systems with many fascinating functions. Allot of time, our customer tell us that they do not need many of the functions. With the SMZ745T and MioCam HD+, the superior image quality can be achieve at a fraction of the price of VHX-6000 or VHX-5000.
